Intro to Pickleball

The Intro to Pickleball Lesson is a two-hour class. Have you heard of pickleball and you would like to try it out before committing to Beginner Lessons? Are you looking for a creative date for you and your partner? Do you and a friend want to try pickleball? If you answered yes to any of those questions, then this class is for you!

Students must be at least 18 years old, and no prior sports history is required. Classes have a minimum of 4 students and a maximum of 8. All equipment is provided. The curriculum includes rules of the game, serving, and dinking. This is a great way to see if the game of pickleball is for you!

⚡ Class changes due to weather are communicated to students via text message. All lessons are outside, so a rain date is provided. Also, if it is ridiculously hot (or the real feel is out of this ozone) we will skip class and use the rain date.

💲 Cost: $25 per person

👥 Class Size: Maximum of 8 players

💵 Payment: Cash, check, PayPal, or Venmo. Credit cards are only accepted via PayPal. You do not need to pay in advance, you may pay in-person at the lesson.

💻 Register: Use the Sign Up button to reserve your spot in the next class! Please use a separate registration for each player. Name, email address, and mobile number are required.

✔️Confirmation: You will receive an email confirmation from notifications@koalendar.com. The confirmation email will include the date, time and address of your booking. If you need to change your booking, a link is provided in the confirmation email

✖️ Cancellation Policy: Cancellations must be made at least 12-hours before the beginning of the first class. This does not apply to changes due to weather.

Belvidere Park

📍 1006 W. Lincoln Ave., Belvidere, IL 61008 — Belvidere Park is a 105-acre park that hosts six outdoor pickleball courts that are next to the basketball courts. The Kishwaukee River flows just south of the pickleball courts and has beautiful floral plantings all summer long with a walking path to explore all the amenities of the park.

🚗 Parking: Players may park in the gravel parking lot within the park (south of the courts), or use the free street parking on W. Lincoln Ave (north of the courts).

🏀 The pickleball courts are next to the basketball courts and pool.

🚻 Restrooms: There are restrooms in the building adjacent to the courts.
