Mens @ 9 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. — check in @ 8:30 a.m.
Womens @ 1 - 4:30 p.m. — check in @ 12:30 p.m.
Some women's divisions may be combined with the men's divisions and play at 9 am. A final decision will be made on March 30th after registration has closed.
👕 Shirts - Dri-Fit shirts, Small-2XL (Scroll down for specs and size chart) Note: You must be registered by Wednesday, March 15, 2023 @ 9 a.m. to receive a shirt.

🔁 Format
🔀 Divisions:
Mens 3.0, 3.5 & 4.0 — 48 players
Womens 3.0, 3.5 & 4.0 — 48 players

🔁 Format: Round robin scramble separated by skill levels and gender. Scramble format - partners switch after every game in pool play. Games are to 11 points, win by 1 point. One timeout per team, per game. You will play approximately 6 games in pool play before the single elimination playoff. Medals will be awarded to the top three participants in each division.
Stage 1 - Scramble Pool Play - You will be assigned a new partner for every game (scramble).
Scoring Totals for Pool Play: 1.) Wins, 2.) Points, 3.) Head-to-Head
Stage 2 - Single Elimination Playoff - You will play with the same partner for the entire elimination playoff stage.

Rockford's premiere multi-use riverfront indoor sports venue opened on June 1, 2016. The facility is a renovated factory with a rich history that dates back to the W.F. & John Barnes Company in 1884. The modern facility contains 105,000 sq. ft. of space for a variety of indoor amateur sports. The facility has 12 hardwood pickleball courts.
Other features of the UW Health Sports Factory include:
Courtside Grill - full restaurant and bar on the second floor (opening January 2023)
Seating for up to 3,700 people with portable bleachers
5 meeting rooms
Riverfront boardwalk
Access to downtown Rockford within a short walk

❔ FAQs
🏓 How many games will I play? You will play 6-10 games of pickleball. The more you win, the further you go, the more you play. Depending on how the brackets fill, some divisions may need to be combined to insure you have 8 games. You may be playing your games back-to-back games with no bye rounds.
💲 What determines the entry fee? The entry fee is based on the expenses of the tournament. For instance:
Each basketball court (3 pickleball courts) are rented from UW Health Sports Factory.
Event insurance is provided to the Rockford Park District for the tournament.
New balls are purchased for every tournament as this is the industry standard best practice.
Medals for each division.
Swag item (shirt) for each player
Administrative costs like credit card fees and scheduling software.
